tranny problems

I have a traxxas tmaxx 3.3 with a two speed trans with reverse,my problem is that it wont come out of second gear when i slow down and turn around,i have to tap the throttle and then it comes out of second and takes off,any advice.:\

try adjusting the shift point they can be a pain to get them right.try and loosen the adjustment screw turn it counter clock wise in 1/16 at a time.do you know how to adjust it?if not check out traxxas site.

A high idle speed or an engine hanging at high rpm’s coming off throttle due to a lean tune, or the shift point set too early can cause a hang in 2nd gear.

You would want to tighten the adjustment screw clockwise for a later shift.
