Trackstar Engines

Has anyone had experience with Trackstar engines. They are available from HobbyKing but they seem very inexpensive. I like to stick with Novarossi but a friend of mine is considering to put one in an exceed madfire buggy.

I tend to shy away trackstar motors and ESC...I didnt know they made engines but Id probably shy away from them as well IMO.
