Actually 250 is fine if you are running it hard. Most of mine like the 240-250 range. As long as the engine is running happy there and not bogging or anything it is GTG.

+1. 250 is cool for a Traxxas engine.

When I was running my 3.3, 270 was normal. Traxxas motors tend to run a bit hotter than most others.
