Well I'm a noobie to this amazing forum. I just had a question. Is trading my loaded psp for a Used Tmaxx(loosing compression) a good deal? Help me out? also if theres any trades out there let me know, so i can post in the fs/ft forum.Thnx! If i do wrong by posting this here please delete moderator.

I really have no idea, since there are no specs... Is it the old (pro .15 engine) or the newer (trx 2.5, .15 engine)?

Well the guy I'm trading with has no idea, becuz he dont knwo nothing about nitro. I can email them to you if youd like. lmk

Either way I think its a raw deal. When ya say loaded psp, I'm guessin ya got alot of games and movies and stuff? Since the revo came out you can pick a Maxx up for pretty cheap, and with a popped mill, even less. Maybe trading the psp alone for the maxx would be a little closer. My opinion anyway.

The guy seriously doesn't know anything about the truck jeje. Thats what they told him at hobbytown. I have pics of the truck if any one wanna look at it. lmk

Well you guys are pros at this, and me well I'm a rookie. So help me out plz, is it good trade or should i wait to get a better trade?

I would say the truck is worth about $250 or less... Even with the hop ups (integy at that).

Yeah, I'd have to agree with .21RC on this. Frankly, I think that truck is worth more parted out, but that's my opinion. Considering what you're offering to trade, may want to see if you can find something else (or at least one who's engine is in better shape.)

That being said, keep in mind I know nothing about PSP's, so who knows, you may be getting a deal after all!

What I do know is that, there's a lot of aluminum on that rig you list, which is nice and shiney, but once bent, stays bent and can be expensive to replace. If you've never owned a nitro R/C before, I'd consider something a bit more stock until you get comfortable with it. If you end up with this thing, I'd put the stock parts back on it for the time being until you truly get the feel of how it will run for you. I tell ya, for the price of one Integy aluminum A-arm, I can replace the entire front end with stock parts!

Just my thoughts. Good luck, man! Let us know how it turns out!

I have pictures of the truck, i tried putting them on here but too big. I can email the pics so you guys can take a look at it.lmk

If you are going to replace the PSP later don't....like RC said maybe 250 max for that truck...sell the psp and buy a nicer used rig if you really want to dump it.....you can get a nice used T-maxx that's better hopped up for 250.......seriously the guy got all the worst hop ups to start out w/.....he made it heavy first w/o beefing it up before....all it will be is headache until you spend serious coin on it to make it run properly.....the shocks are nice but high maintenance...they blow seals fairly easy compared to other sets but they are very plush if you keep them running right....the skids and bumpers are all un-needed weight fro a stock engine....and one that's on it's way out????? w/ 2.5 engine it either runs or it doesn't....they are very un user friendly until you accept you need to run it hard to get any performance...and the K & N filter....worst thing you could put on a nitro 2-stroke mill......they are no where near as fine as the foam filters we all use......I bet your buddy's truck looks real pretty but like others have said, I wouldn't do that trade......

ya can email me the pic if ya want. [email protected] and I can post them up for ya. But yeah, dont do it. Thats not even close to being a good trade for ya.

THNX. Everyone. Keep the advice coming

Sent you the pics 4u2nv

imo you should not make a trade with someone who doesn't know anything about the rc ...either he got it in a trade & doesn't know how bad it was treated.. OR he bought it new yet knows nothing about it .... neither would be a good rc for a noob who doesn't know what to look for yet

Can I ask where your trading this? Like someone off the net (Which site?) or a friend or what? I also uploaded the pics, but saw Monkey wrench done it for ya already. I still say no. There are alot of hopups and one day when everything was new it was a nice rig, but like I said since the revo, Tmaxx stuff has really fallen off.

Well guys i called the deal off. I appreciate the advice from all of you.

Glad to hear it. Integy blows. Like many others have said, if you want a truck, find a revo. It's a bit pricey new or used, but it's a solid truck for anyone, especially a newbie just getting thier feet wet.

CAn anyone help me find some one to trade witH. I want the Revo(advice taken) or a Tmaxx in great condition with accesories.
