You can plug it into the 3 "prong" slot of the receiver. You'll only be using 2 of the 3 prongs. Just make sure the black wire is on the same side as the other black wires of the ESC and servo plug, which is usually the outside of the receiver. Hope this makes sense.

Looks like a standard plug to me, are you sure it's too small?
The connector only has 2 contact points, so it's a little narrower than the typical 3 contact points of a servo and ESC.

LED's usually only have 2 wires and don't use the signal wire unless they come with a control box that you use to change the lights on/off state, like turn signals. Your reciever will have 3 pins (unless it is toy grade and has 5). Normally hobby grade servos have the signal pin to the inside with positive (red) in the middle, and negative (black) on the outside. White on my pic here is the signal wire, and you can see on the receiver it says "S + -". You want to match up the two pins for your wires. Red to + and black to -.

I ran across this for the first time not long ago, you will be fine, as stated above, be sure to match black to black, when plugging it in. I was surprised how snug it fit, thought it would be loose. Love learning new stuff! :)
