Damn! I paid $500 for mine...guess that's what happens when you gotta be the first one on the block with the new toys. oh well... It was birthday money anyways. I should have mine in my hands by Tues.

lucky me!ace being the us distributer is saying that they are the only company importing from ttr. anyone can order from overseas from a foreign distributer.
btw i got my hands on one at the ihobby show in chicago a while back. its a good buggy but i strayed from the idea of getting one just because of the reputation ttr has gotten with parts availability (or lack there of).

)hehe... Yes, it is a kit. I already have receiver, and servo's for it (stealing from my Maxx). I have a 6.0V 600mah battery for my receiver but it's hump and I'm pretty sure the buggy takes a flat pack. I assume I could break it down and realign it or maybe just get a new 1000mah pack, but I havn't decided yet. I don't have an engine or pipe yet either.. havn't decided on what and I don't yet have the spending money for them. More than likely gonna get an O.S. C'mon Tuesday!

Got the PM. I ordered one through a hobby shop overseas and thought I would order for others if they wanted it.
if you guys in the states are having problems with spares, then seriously think about getting one, they do break!!!!. had them for a while in the uk and there great bit of kit, but little things like they dont fit standard 17mm hex wheels, like kyosho or hyper wheels, the shock shafts are ccccrap, need replacing with mugen ones (i think there mugen but can find out). theres been problems with the red anodized shock towers breaking. the springs need cutting down as there slightly to long. just a few problems weve encountered over here.

Just an update, I was looking at the mugen mbx5 that breakin2 had up for auction, he had stated that he was selling because he was not interested in 1/8th buggies and was going to stay with 1/10th racing (I know it sounds strange with all the talk of buggies from him). As I was searching Ebay I found he was bidding on another mugen mbx5 buggy (bid on this buggy ) (check bid history under johnnybreakdance)(oh you got out bid). So if he is getting out of 1/8th buggy why would he bid on another. After reading this thread you would think he is big into it, so very confusing. I also asked about the 2 Xray buggies he had sold and he gave me the answer above. Well I checked the data on the to auctions (first Xray )(2nd Xray ) what I found was that the 1st auction ended on Nov 30/04 @ 18:31pst and the second started on Dec 01/04 @ 18:24pst. That is less than 24 hrs between the 2 auctions, know for the benefit of the doubt lets say he contacted you in that short period of time and didn’t take the buggy. Then I would have to ask you why would he leave you feed back (FAST shipping and great to work with!

I am going to give 6 links to 6 of your auctions that this spedmeg has bid on near the end of the auction starting in Nov to the mid of Dec 04. I feel Ebay may find this interesting, and I could check some more of your auctions and see if there are any other user names.

FUCKIN NO! UGHHHH.... It was supposed to ship out Fri. as long as Ace was gonna be on time with their shipment to Evolution Hobbies. Apparently they weren't (big surprise) cuz it's not here yet. I don't know if anybody here has done business with this shop but they seem pretty straight up so I'm trying not to stress out about it. They've been really good about getting back to me with e-mails and such. But you know how it is... once you've been burned once it's hard not to be weary of everybody. I'm gonna give them a call tomorrow and find out what's up. I'm so freakin anxious it's rediculous. I just wanna hold the cool ass chassis. drool..... I'll keep everybody updated...
