Very pretty, but does it work?

Let us know. I'm in the market for a hop-up to enhance my Hyper, that might be the ticket.

Where did you buy it and how much? Looks sweet I need a pipe for my Outlaw

I'm waiting to hear on whether or not there is going to be a pipe made by THS for the Outlaw. This was is a direct fit for the .21bb (I installed it today). I know it will fit on the Outlaw but I'm wonderring if it will be too small for it. After all, that .26 has more oooomph!

My LHS has a couple more on order. 60 bucks or so. They retail for 90+. If you like, I can let you know when they come in. They look exactly like the RD logics pipe dont they???

Performance test in a couple........

I thought the topic read THC pipe....boy was I surprised when I saw what you were really talking about

Ok here is the quick review.....

Instructions: (Not Rated!) None included

Parts: 4 1/2 thumbs up! All there! No extras (thus the half point reduction). High quality & great fit!

Installation: 4 1/2 thumbs up! Didnt have to remove shocks but slightly difficult to get onto exhaust port (oil up gasket first!). The standoff piano wire is just long enought to mount under the receiver screw and requires some thought before bending. Also, add a washer between the screw head and the mount before installing. This will hold it to the body better.

Sound: 5 thumbs up! Quieter yet sounds better than stock.

Power Effect: 5 thumbs up! Much better low end and some high end increase! Seemed to 'smooth' out engine running.

Looks: 5 thumbs up! Shine baby Shine!

Overall I give this pipe and header combo a 5 thumbs up! I like the locking pipe/header with the 3 springs. Solid! It took about 2 tanks to get the idle, HSN and LSN where they needed to be to realize the impact this pipe has. I was able to go back to stock on the LSN and had to increase idle and lean the HSN. I had the front wheels off the ground more than once! Smoothed out the overall running of the .21bb. This is one of the best upgrades I have done to my Savage yet!

Cost should be around 55$ even though retail list is 90$.

Right from the stickers on the box:

THS8020
1/8 Savage Truck (Polished)
Price: 90.00
THPG8020

The HB Lightning Pro 1/8 buggy has the same stock .21BB the savage has. Wonder if it would fit in the chassis. :D

I believe so but would have to look in a catalog as they do not have a website. Ill see what I can dig up. Might need a day or two though.

You can prob find some on the web for sale but I dont think anyone sells their whole line. Which may be limited.

thats weird, i looked at the one for the 1/10 scale on road, and it says it is made to fit the .15 hpi engine, but looking at the picture there is no way the header will connect to the engines exhaust manifold ... the one made for the rs4 3 will . but i have a supernitro , so now I'm just flat out confused

I think so. I could be off by a few dollars. Ill check when I go back in there tomorrow. Yeah, I know, how could I not know... Prob is the overall bill I have when I walk out of there.....

Did you find a better price out there?
