You'll need to pop the servo horn off the servo to thread the linkage into the horn.
You may be able to figure out which hole it was originally using given the wear pattern.

I often take pics before I disassemble things to help me remember how they were arranged before I messed with them.

Welcome to RCTALK.COM!!! 😎 :thumbs-up: 😁

Every once in a while I can feel it... Its not even that 'the word' was spoken but then BAM!!!

Which Kyosho are you running?

That rod just pops back into the servo arm like other ppl said.

Easy fix!!!

i see what looks like a purple alum chassis, that and the RX box suggests that this would be some sort of HSP/exceed (they have a bunch of nitro cars all using the same basic platform, iirc)
I remain hopeful!!!
Lol! 🤣

The blue head looks like an OS I have on an MP6.

Even if its just a Kyosho servo being used, I stand by my original statement.

RULES!!!

Welcome to RCNT! Your metal rod, the brake linkage, should be connected in hole 1 or 2, depending on the swing of your servo: View attachment 277113I'd try hole 2 first, and if it doesn't brake as hard as previously, move the linkage to hole one.
