three engines, need help picking

posted this in the buggy section, not sure how many will see it as I'm sure many use these engines for other than buggies.

all are fairly close in cost, so I'm looking for the biggest bang for my buck out of these 3 only.

not looking for a battle when I tune. I heard some engines are tricky to tune even when sealed, just their nature.

which one do you guys think?

The JPX .21, the others do not compare for quality. The V-spec will tune a little easier but will require a lot more money to maintain. The Reedy does not compare for power.
All my Picco mills run and tune great after a proper break in. Lost count of the gallons on my back up engine. It's over 7 gallons for sure.. Pick up a 086 pipe if you don't have one.

The Jammin 21 is a good engine, Axial is putting out a .28 that is a direct bolt-in replacement engine for any .21+ engine mount, and will accept most aftermarket shaft drive starting systems, it's suppose to be pretty wicked too...:whhooo:

That JPX .21 is a great little engine for sure. Don't rule out the Alpha Plus line or engines though! $209 for a GREAT mill! A lot of racers are hanging up there OS Speeds in favor of the Alpha Plus these days....which is shocking for such an inexpensive engine. They do run REALLY REALLY well and give you a HUGE bang for your buck.

I would not consider the Axial nitro engines. Their quality is kind of hit or miss. OS does make a solid motor for the money.
