Ok, I want to race-ready my truck and lower the suspension. As I was doing this, I noticed that not all of the shocks were now at the same height I had previously set them at. I do not want to permanently lock them in place but I would like them to stay in place during the races. Any suggestions? For or against thread lock? Thanks.

if you could find another nut that is the same size that would work. tighten one against the other and it would stay in place.

I wouldn't use threadlock on your shocks... Been there... Those threads are so fine, & weak, that once you apply any pressure to break the locktight, you'll end up cross threading them..
You could try the double nut like vbgagnon posted, or use a very small ziptie on either side of it.

Thanks for the advice. I'm thinking small, thick, rubber bands now.
