Sure can. Just keep the gearing on the low side. Around stock should be just fine.

Thanks Matt. Yeah I just wanted a few more rpm's/volts with the stock gear. It says 35 mph stock with the 7 cells. Maybe she'll hit 40 with 8. I won't be getting lipo till summer so I want to get some good power out of it 'til then.
