It is a 1993 so its a older one. I say offer him $650 and make sure it runs!!

I've heard bs talk like the guy in this ad, I'd avoid it.

"Will fire up right away no matter how cold and will idel all day long." is a prime example.

Things like this worry me too: "Still has the stock key ignition and the stock oil injection." - If it is stock why bother to tell someone? Pay close attention to this...If when you get there he points it out and says something like "Oh, well this needs to be fixed soon..." etc...be sure you know what that will cost you.

And with all the mods, something this simple is why he is selling? "The only reason I am selling the Blaster so cheap is because it needs a new rear caliber and brake cable."

If your mechanical knowledge is up to par, go check it out and shoot an offer like Xiris said. Start low, almost insultingly low, to see how desperate he is to sell. Sometimes when they are trying to sell a ticking time bomb they'll off it on anyone with a decent chunk of cash.

i personally would stay away from a Blaster...if you are wanting a 2 stroke aim for a Banshee...

Banshee's are way out of my price range. I have a story for everyone. A guy called Big Mike tried selling me a 86 Suzuki lt 250r Quad Racer for $850. I told him i was kinda interested, but in the mean time i called the guy for this blaster. We talked, he said, "where ya from?" I said Shamokin. (Shamokin is where my dad lives). He goes..Oh I had another guy call me from Shamokin, Uhh Mike yeah thats it. So I put two and two together and figured out, he wanted to sel me that 86 Suzuki and buy this Blaster...He is such an ass! But I'm not sure, I may go down to see it today.

BTW, I would bet my life on that it was the same mike.

only bad thing about buying a 2 stroke, specially an old one is that theres a really good chance he's never done anything to the bottom end, prolly rebuilt the top end a bunch, and thats why he's selling it cuz he' knows its about to pop...maybe not though.

I called the guy, I'm going to get it in about 2 hours. I will let you's know how it is.

I got it today....Helluva Deal. Fires up on the first kick, shifts great! I only got to ride it for 5 minutes because it was dark but I'm going out all day tomorrow. He sais the engine was rebuit with some racing piston not too long ago. Guy was nice, gave me a bill of sale and went over the whole thing with me.

post pictures and videos i love blasters they can be made very fast for such a little bike

do away with the injectors I've heard of people blow there motrs b/cof them

Yupp Its going...I think its a steal for $700! Full FMF Exhaust system...Not bad for a 1993.

Yea, It has the Oil Injector in it, that has to go.

Yeah it does! Just mix it with the gas as you add it. That injector is about as reliable an a toaster in a rain storm...

Dude, it's got decent rubber all the way around, looks like a nice spring, the fenders are in good shape, the front arms don't look bent... Looks like it was well taken care of!

Nice score Austin! Tell pops I want his bike, I see part of it in some of the pics :D
