Just looking for something cheap until I decide which direction to go. (Stay vintage brushed or brushless) also need a cheap charger if anyone has a recommendation or old charger they wanna sell.

What RC platform are you thinking about putting those battery packs in?

The only RC fire I've ever been responsible for was caused by a humpback nimh pack shorting out on a hard impact. Buy this instead for a few more bucks:

I've had good experiences with Dynamite products. I use them in my E-Maxx and Bolink cars. Great price and decent run time.

The run time is really good on my Bolink pan chassis. Hardly any rolling resistance. The E-Maxx eats them up quicker.
