these nitro rustler tires and rims suck!!!

I have only had 2 tanks after break-in and the tires are already bald and have holes riped in them and the rims are missing chunks and are all cracked up! Any recomendations on a good set of rims and a large pin tire? I like the looks of the pro-line Trac-ta-gators! but whats a good rim!

yea they do suck,i hate the fact that u can't get a wrench in them eather.try looking at www.rpmrcproducts.com some good rims and tires there

yea try tower too ,i looked at rpm and can't tell if those rims are wrench ready.but i have seen a style somewhere for the rustler that look like they wud give u good wrench axcess,it might have been at tower

Pro-Line makes a good set of rims for it, but if you have MIP cvd axles, you can't get a wrench on them. HPI also makes rims that will fit. They come with adapters for several different makes. I like Losi ribbed tires for the front, and Pro-Line Gladiator II tires for the back. They hook up on most anything.

I got the RPM slingshot rims and pro-line trac ta gator tires from tower! They should be here shortly!

ie the tires for dirt only, they work really well. you are correct about the rims, they really are junk

I've got the trac-ta-gators on my gt and i can make it stand up with the stock engine. :OMG: I'm still using the stock rims though.
