Receiver mod+pics

hi guys.
Just made a mod to my Spektrum receiver. I took the casing off and drilled a hole in the side of the case.So now it goes directly in the antenna hole. If i didnt do this it would go over the receiver then into the hole.So i wouldn't get as much signal but with this mod i get a bigger signal and as we all know BIGGER IS BETTER

Yep it basically increase's the length of the signal wire and it actually works i have tried this before too.

You should really try it if it doesn't work for you just use the normal hole but if it does you can use the one on the side. WIN WIN lol

OVERALL IMPRESSION SO FAR:

It feel fanastic its light and it feels very very nice. Its all binded and i have driven my 808 with it and the mini reciver is truely epic 10/10 so far.

is that a 3 channel transmitter???? well I could get away with a 2 now I dont have reverse in my maxx's except one.... but if I can't get that working smoothly again it will be comin out.....

Lookin good!!!!! I am bad with stickers I dont like alot but when I get new stickers it's a way to make it look alittle different....

yes mate 3 channel receiver and i put the micro receiver in my Xray 808 and standard one in the firestorm flux.(your the only person who comments most of the time so thanks for that lol)

n.p. Its been raining alot around here so I can only get outside to drive my rigs everyso often when it stops raining for a couple hours here and there..... I hate the rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but I love the mud that its been making!!!!! so i guess i can deal with it sometimes..... You watch my luck I will wake up tomorrow and the sun will be out and no more mud.... thats my luck right there..

Still no sign of the motor and its been over 1 month since I've ordered it. So i have reported this to Ebay if the seller doesn't reply within 10 days ebay will view the case and hopefully i will get a refund and get myself another motor.

Good tires, but if you plan to run it on asphalt, get some road tires too, or something with a less aggressive tread.

You flip the tires inside out and wrap it with duct tape, then set them normal and mount them, that's to prevent them from ballooning at high speeds, it gives you a better contact surface.

I'd go twice, just make sure you clean the rubber very well, motor spray works good, and you can use it to clean the bead before mounting it too.
