I love this black Friday stuff , not to buy another RC , ( cuz I'm done buying ! ) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ but I love how these sales show how much the mark up is on these things , example ,,, Traxxas UDR IS $5999 RIGHT NOW , it's usually $750 , so there still making ng a profit off the $599 price ? Jeeze !!! Maybe before school sale we can get it for $300 !! Arrma big rock is $150 off now , so school sale would be $399 ? Shows how much these companies are really marking up this crap , TRUTH REVEALED !!!! BASICALLY,,,,,most good rc's are really worth a buck n a haf bob !!!!! Crooks , creeps n smooth criminals running my war inside my head via my freeeekn financial πŸ”™ NG 🀬😑🀬😑🀬😑🀬😑

Nobody is forced to buy an RC, it's either worth what they are asking or it's not. As the Rolling stones said "You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime, you'll find You get what you need"

Any new kit won't make any money until the cost of development has been recouperated. That could take more than a year or so. Initial runs might disclose a problem, which they sometimes fix. That's when you might see a sale to rid them of old stock. You can also sometimes tell when a kit is getting ready to be discontinued by watching the sales. Sure they're making a lot of money on these kits. But it's likely not turning a profit until you see the first sale.

I try to be a savy shopper, just in general. In the case of R/C, there's the known element here that NONE of this is "essential" in the same way that food and water is, although many would disagree! 🀣
There are usually pretty healthy mark ups on items of this nature.
TV's, audio & video gear, race parts for 1:1 cars, designer clothing... ALL ready to take your money... ALL your money IF you let them!
You are correct! Wait for the sale and save big!!! Your wallet will thank you!!!

A lot of the $$$ is from "BRAND NEW" and "REDESIGNED","V2"... hyped crap.
I've fallen for it too.
A resdesigned version of the same POS that no one liked before... BUT NOW... its got new stickers AND different tires!!!

There ARE good R/C products that can be purchased, certainly! But if you want to be the cool kid on the block with the "BRAND NEW" R/C or the person who just won 1st in the A main with a brand new motor...you're likely sponsered or...
GONNA HAVE TO PAY.

It really pisses me off when a manufacturer has a sale... especially when my fun-funds are flat!

What were they thinking?!

:hehe::celebrate:
which quickly leads to the 1:1 fund... flat, and the house fund... flat, food.... 🀣🀣🀣

I like it a lot. Took is 1.5 days to get everything done. Got the alignment done at a specialty shop who knew how to set up lifted trucks, and it drives great. Will get it on the trail this weekend. Monday I head over to the fab shop so they can weld on my body mount plates, and then she is done. Turned into a money pit, but I love it. Nitto Trail Grapplers are pretty slick looking.

Lol! I never get out of modding ANYTHING cheap!!! Your time paid off!!!
I need to talk to my local Tire shop about my lift too.
I need to make sure they won't try to set it to factory spec and then argue when it won't drive straight, you know?
Envoys have a wonky suspension anyways.
Took me 3 shops to get it right last time and the 🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬🀬 dealer left my ignition on for 2 hours and fried the ign interlock.
I HATE bringing my car to a shop!

Your truck looks like it sits "right"
No monster truggy look for the streets!
A guy in town provides comic relief with his 2' lifted Chevy with 28" wheels that stick out about a foot on each side. I can't figure that out!

What I REALLY want to see is some offroading with YOTA!!! 😍😍😍

That truck looks mean now!!! 😎.

Who said they were making a profit on it at that price?

Sellers hold Black Friday sales to attract customers with significant discounts, driving high volumes of foot traffic or online visits. This event helps clear out inventory, generate immediate cash flow, and build customer loyalty by offering perceived value. While individual items may be sold at little or no profitβ€”or even at a lossβ€”retailers often compensate through increased sales volume, upselling, and cross-selling higher-margin items. Moreover, the promotional buzz can set the stage for strong holiday sales. For many, Black Friday is profitable overall, though the success largely depends on efficient marketing and inventory management.

PLEASE !! NO MATH , but I feel very large from this,I knew all that but now I'm much better , my purchases are more safety minded these days , as to how to get them in the house without my wife seeing them , she feels I may need some medical attention sometimes soon ??? πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
