Put some brass wheel weights inside the front wheels and metal wheel nuts on

Not sure in the weight difference as my buddy borrowed my 4 scorner scales

Tried throwing the nuts on a kitchen scale and they didn't register

The wheel weights weigh 3.7 each

Once I get my scales back I'll look into maybe taking the spare tire off the back

The droop on the rear is due to the flex blades. Still deciding on how I want to handle that

No tips from this guy yet, when the parts are flowing like scx24, I will buy then or build a ground up. Not into buying rtr, I haven’t bought a stock scx24 yet, and don’t plan on it with the dirty30.
But may have too, just for visual reasons. Cause they small. Bodies galore for these things.

Finished indoor crawler sheet last night. Used HF reg 6x9 canvas drop cloth cut to about 4x6. Laid out in table and clamped corners and edges to make smoothing out foil tape easier. 2 layers all over. Folded over edges and added more tape to secure. Did a test month or so ago using an old t shirt. Canvas is better, has more rigidity than a sheet or t shirt. Works well

How does that work? Is that a rubber coating?
Nah, mine is a Harbor Freight drop cloth, backed by two rolls of foil HVAC tape laid perpendicular to each other.

Here's mine.

The .7 wheels are just too cute 😅

I put some of the RC4WD .7 wagon wheels on my SCX24 trailer. Probably the hardest beadlocks I've ever assembled, but they weren't too bad.

Selection isn't there yet, but I think there are definitley enough parts to do a ground up build.

The crawler course I made for the 24’s and 18’s is too much for this little guy. It can’t even make it onto the course - too many large boulders.
I may try a better brushed motor in the future but I think I will leave most of it alone. It just needs a little weight down low, and injora is supposed to be releasing some wheels for it soon.
New here but the neobeast from mofo is a good brushed motor. I paired it with a rockwolf esc and it is nice and smooth.

Same here .7 very small.
They are actually the correct size for 24th scale. I mean, who has a rock crawler with 24" wheels?

But I am pretty sure the SCX24's are closer to 22nd scale. So likely closer to a 22" wheel. But still. A .7 scaled up from 22nd scale is 15.4"

Does anyone know where I can get a set of the white wheels that come factory on the Bronco?

I can't fine them anywhere. Not even on Horizon Hobby

I am trying to make the 30 match my 1/24 JLU and it has white wheels. And I want the factory ones because I already have brass inserts to go in them

Buy the Bronco and swap'em! :p

Thought I'd posted my portable rock course here, but I hadn't.
I went a slightly different route to the drop cloth, I used a photo studio backdrop, the cloth is softer to the touch but just as thick, the reason I prefer this is because how real it looks..!!
My cloth is 7'x5' as a flat sheet, and it rolls up just like all the others you may have seen.

This is what it looks like, and you can get different colors, I went with grey/black rock, but you could go with a faux Moab look 😂😂

Here is an example of what I got...

Did a couple of mods to my K10 so far, painted side lights amber as you can see in pic above, just used Tamiya clear orange acrylic paint, removed led's applied two thin coats and then popped them back in place 😎
The other tiny mods I've done are remove shock spacers seen below, changed the shock mounting holes to the higher holes, front highest and furthest back and rear, one hole back and up. Oh also painted light buckets chrome..
