Its just amazing how this provider speeds up the site when they hear we are looking to move. O-well! Hind-sight is 20-20 on their part.

As for the server, well the company we first went with had the new server setup in 3days and managed to mess everything up with an incomplete setup and then told we wouldn't be able to get exaclty what we wanted without paying more - so I cancelled the server lastnight.

Also lastnight I ordered the new server with a new company and within about an hour or two they had our server up and ready. Here are the specs of the official new server:

Dual 2.8Ghz Xeon with Hyper Threading
2GB RAM
2x 73GB SCSI hard drives
2,000GB Bandwidth

In my judgement this is going to be a overkill, however we won't really know until about spring with the site is usually really kicking then. None the less I've just spent another $125.00 for a security admin no more then 5mins ago who will now secure the server, finish any minor setups as well as a few of my custom setups (which should really help the site too), and then start the transferring of the site.

WARNING:

With the above said, RCNT could be on the new server within hours to days. Those of you wanting a heads up warning. Here it is, we're moving and we're gonna be doing it very soon. Payments have been sent, deals have been made and the work is in progress right now. It won't be long until we're on the new server and hopefully this site will see a new life.
