The first steps on building my track!

Here's my first sketch of my track. I know I have to adjust the design in the center part of the track for my length in feet or shorten the length of the track. I would like your thoughts, questions, comments and smart a$$ remarks. Thanks again for your input.

i like the lay out 80x100 and 10ft lanes.. well got to go find my tape....and start digging up my back yard.

I'm kinda lucky. My neighbors/cousins race dirtbikes and have a HUGE track so i go and bash on there. Its almost TOO big though. Its preatty streatched out. It does the job though.

Yeah, a dirtbike track would still be a ton of fun... if nothing else then just to bash or jump. I wish there was more stuff like that around here. There are a few tracks if I drive 45min to an hour, but I wish there was something around here.

Darthracer, I thought you lived out in Medina?

Naw, not me. I used to live in Kenmore but moved back to South Buffalo a few months ago. Are you attending the ECB this year? We could always prepare for the bash on your track once its done. :D

I like the 10 ft wide idea. The track in my buddies yard only has about 6 ft lanes. It does the trick though. I've been running on it for about two months now, and when they open the indoor track again this winter I'm hoping those ten ft lanes will seem really easy.

The city is also building a BMX track by the new paved skate park. It looks to be huge for rc. Should be fun!

yeah, jumping to larger lanes vs. smaller that you are normaly used to will be a good thing, trust me. You'll have all the room in the world.

Actually DarthRacer, kbeckwith17 and I work and hang out together sometimes and when we get our buggy's we are going to hit the track where the ECB is held. Hopefully by the first week of July. White Rhino Hobbies are giving us the run around and if they don't ship this Monday we are getting our money back and go to Fields and see if Jay can hook both of us up with buggy's. We will let you know and meet at that track because with all this rain my track won't be finished in time.
