Finally done with the T-Mobile disaster. A friend came by and dropped the package by a UPS drop point for me. I'll never consider T-Mobile anything other than a bunch of scam artists and liars. 3 different times they agreed to have UPS come pick up their modem, only to backtrack and try to charge me nearly $30. Now they have me charged $62 for the trial of their internet that was supposed to be a 15 day trial. I tried it for a day and called and cancelled the trial. They're definitely getting reported to the Better Business Bureau.

and now i get to finish work my boss started and has been coughing all over.
something tells me I'm going to be about 10 degrees past pissed in a few days. (sick and it being totally avoidable)
You have a terrible boss. We have a standing rule in my department, if you're sick, work from home, period. I'll also tell the guys to stay home during inclement weather, etc.

Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered to its final destination. It is currently in transit to the next location.

IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

They are a scam, I service their data centers and the amount of freaking money these clowns have is ridiculous.

he's a workaholic with a SEVERE undiagnosed case of ADHD.
its kind of like being around a squirrel if everything was a nut. mixed with a kid hopped up on Red Bull on Christmas morning.
the ADHD gets funneled into work. he'll work a full day, go home, then come back in the evening after dinner and work another few hours before going home and going to bed. he'll come in on weekends. its usually not really productive but he can't not come in and do something. when things slow down or get to busy he blurs the F out of the line between productive and busy. if he's not in chaos he doesn't know what to do with himself.

My boss is the same exact.

I'm also ADD, ADHD or whatever they're calling it this week. BUT, I'm not a workaholic, at all. I work to live, not the other way around. And my company and CTO know that I'm right there if they really need em for an emergency outage, etc. But day to day, I'm putting in my 8 and going home to my family, same for my guys. I was one of the engineers on the engineering team before taking the management role over my team. I won't ever ask them to do anything I won't do, or haven't done and will put in the late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed alongside them. So far, that's worked out well. My guys take damned good care of me, and I try to do the same for them.

iv noticed something that's kinda ticking me off (and confusing me)
when i charge any of my ipods, MP3 players, or phones by plugging them into my laptop they take longer to charge, but when in use the battery last noticeably longer than when i charge via plugging them into any of the USB wall chargers and that includes the chargers that came with them.

I think my boss is bipolar and will do anything not to be at home.
I used to work for a guy like that. We never knew when quitting time was. Funny thing is, sometimes he would disappear for hours. One night about 3 hours past normal quitting time we found him in the loft. 3 roaches in the ash tray and he was passed out on his psychiatrist couch. Good boss though, just never knew what to expect 🤪

battery prob lasts longer bc its charging at a slower rate and getting more mah's into the pack rather than charging at a higher rate (ie normal wall plug)

i was thinking that, but what's the charge amperage of a USB on a laptop? 2 of the 3 wall plugs i have are .3A the third one is 1.2A and there's no noticeable difference between the wall plugs.

Not sure, I know its 5v but not sure on amperage. Can depend on which model/version/color USB.

I was only thinking what I originally said bc I see it on my charger with regular RC batteries. with charging at 1C compared to 10 amps, 1C from what I see can get about 100 or so more mah in the pack than 10 amps, like 100 mah makes a difference in high power applications. but in low power applications (electronics) it would.

Most of my AC adapter/wall plugs I have in the house are either from samsung, amazon or basically anything I see usually 5v/1.2a-2a.

I don't even use those to charge my phone or headphones anymore. I use laptop chargers. My school chromebook (USB C) is 40w. My lenovo laptop (USB C) is 65w. Insanely fast charging times, I know. RIP my battery but my phone battery sucks anyways from the start 😂

i noticed that with my RC battery's back in the very late 90's. my "smart charger" (MRC Super Brain 809) had 2 charging amperages, 2amp and 4amp. when battery's were charged at 2amp they had noticeably more punch and run time. i haven't noticed (or really payed attention) with lithium.

yea with nimh or nicad I could see that. with lithium its a bit different. run time at slower rates, yea I can see that. Punch, ideally depends on what the IRs are at. That's why high tech and pro racers charge at so high rates to get the IRs down so they can get the max out of their packs. The ones who have fancy iChargers with RCDischarger discharge banks and stuff charging at 40a discharging at 30a, etc, I seen IRs as low as 0.6 milliohms a cell. crazy. The lowest IRs I seen out of my personal packs on my budget charger is 1.2 milliohms on the best budget packs out there, CNHL G+ line. Although recently since I ran them out in below freezing temps, IRs shot up to around 4-5 per cell. Lol.

Ugh! Working on fixing up some body damage on a rig. Paint work was done. DONE!
There was a slight crack on a seam, I thought I'll shoegoo it. Well, the paint is now running in that area.

I am so done with Spazstix paint. Never again will I use their product or buy their products. If I am given some for free I will throw it in the garbage so no one else has to experience how absolute crap their paints are.

I heard it time and time again but I thought "it won't happen to me."

From crappy application from their tip/can, flaking paint to now this. 😡🤬

What a frustrating experience!

Well now, isn't this shocking? It only took four days to make the hour and a half drive.
My paint is out for delivery. Let's hope the postman doesn't have to trek through the 7 feet of snow we don't have to get to my porch.
