Here's my gripe...
I work for local government as the Facilities Manager. I've been here for over 5 years. What I have found is, the people who have worked here, and all government agencies, for over 5 years will become entitled Beatches. They don't ask for thinks to be done, they demand it. And, they all believe their desires should be at the top of the list. To show this, they will email a work order request and CC my boss and department director.
Another issue is, whenever there is a problem, they will spend the first 15 to 20 minutes trying to agree upon who's fault it is. I had to stop a meeting today to ask if we could fix the problem first, then they can all get together and start pointing fingers. After looking at each other, they agreed.
Last week, I pulled into the director's office because admin stated I was sending demanding emails that appear to be demeaning. I kid you not... those were the exact words. I asked to see these emails and here's is what why emails said, "Hello, when available, can you send me the contractors contract?" Another ready "Hello, I'm checking up on an update about this contract I requested last week." I responded to the director by asking if I should start adding emojis to my emails to show my mood at the time or does he prefer I start my emails by asking them about their day and the weather?
Yes, it's that bad.
