I wanna make it clear that I really can’t be bothered with politics. With that being said, I’m ready to vent some frustration in one photo:

at least you can still get it. something iv been seriously thinking about getting is made by a company with a US office in Delaware and a US warehouse in Paramount CA (literally 20 minutes from where i live) but the products are designed, manufactured and assembled somewhere in the EU (according to there website) and after contacting the company to see about where/how i can at least see on in person and possibly purchase one was told they aren't shipping to the US right now because of tariffs. so there's that.

I’m not sure if I’m even gonna get it. And if I do I’m gonna have to spend $80 for a package that’s less than $30. I’m honestly stressed out about it. Tracking hasn’t moved in 6 days so idk if they halted it.

How do you get to $80 from a $30 item?
I'm asking because I also have a shipment incoming from japan.

motors i don't like dealing with and we just got 7 of the MF'ers in that i have to deal with. FML
and i snapped a punch knocking a pin out of the adapter cause god forbid the customer removes them. you now, like they used to 10 years ago. and the only punch i can find that'll work is slightly smaller, so i hope it doesn't F up the pins on the other 6.

Helllllllno-I’ve been watching that mess like a hawk, and made my purchase cutoff dates accordingly. Sure sucks for future stuff though. We shall see how creative people end up to make things happen from here forward. Gonna really hurt the hobby for a LOT of us unfortunately, if it remains this way.

That's kinda the way I see it. But there are a lot of things I have bought over the years that I needed.

Another thing is ebay has turned into a bangood over here. 99% of the listings are from Chinese sellers it seems.

Same with Amazon. Just look up anything on there and you'll find 600 different versions of the same piece of junk.

I’m not talking about “cheap junk”. I’m talking about literally ALL of our high end, hobby grade RC vehicles, engines, motors, parts, and accessories. 98% is manufactured in Taiwan, Japan, and China. I ALWAYS buy American when it’s an option, good luck with that in RC..

My RC car was build in Japan 38 years ago. Thats where QUALITY, FACTORY parts come from.
This SUCKS!!!
I may very well put ALL this sh!t back in storage.
NO more purchases, NO taxes, NO tariffs paid on anything. Screw em.
I will 1000% NOT be forced into buying horizons garbage.

Punish CHINA if thats where the issue lies. Punishing us for having a hobby that has NEVER been dominated nor more than a remote blip on US commerce at ANY point in its history??? yeah.

I'll wait right here for the US to open a high quality RC company.

I wonder if I can still buy sh!t in Canada... its not that far away.

We’ll see… The “reasons” for it change daily, so no sense trying to remedy it with logic.. And since we don’t do politics on the open forum..

This 100%. I think this is the idea behind it and the change I hope it forces.

You know what I hated about my job for 12 years at the design company.....making stuff perfect and then it's sent to China for reproduction. So it could be sold back here.

On the other hand. We had a huge "in house" aluminum job we got screwed on because of tariffs.

I have lost 2 jobs because of the same thing.
