I have a gt2. Trying to prime damn engine but gas does not go through. Getting very impatient. Why can't there be an easier way to start a niyro engine with the technology these days?

How are you priming the engine? Take tune off from exhaust and blow on it. Easiest method.

I'm putting my finger on the exhause and pull the pull starter until I see the gas flow.

This should work every time. Are you saying you aren't getting any fuel in the line? Or just not enough to get all the way to the carb? Sounds to me like you have an air leak somewhere, most likely culprit is your fuel lines.

Ok. Blow down the exhaust line to prime the engine. Then see if the fuel continues to be pumped when the engine is started. Have you sealed the engine? Also look around the fuel tank. Is the lid sealing properly as a bad seal stops the fuel being pumped into the fuel line.

you detach the tube from the exhaust and blow through it until the fuel hits the carb. then u reatach the tube to the exhaust and start it. just be quick so you dont loose the prime.

Ok. But i still don't understand why it does not work the original way

Because as stated, you have an air leak somewhere. As rushel said, it could also be the engine itself, but easiest place to start is replace all the fuel lines.

I never cared for blowing into the lines, nitro fuel is some nasty tasting stuff, even the residue off the pressure line.

If your not getting any fuel flow from plugging the exhaust pipe then either no air is getting to the back pressure line or as other people have said you have a leak in either your fuel line or gas tank.

my method is put your finger over the exhaust tip 2 pulls then take the air filter off and pour a few drips of fuel in put it back on and then put igniter in and it starts almost every time first shot!
