Mind you, there is no official Tekno RC platform release. It's just that Tekno owners have been jumping onboard the 1/8 scale SCT build train as of late. Taking a 1/8 truggy chassis; using 1/8 buggy arms; 17mm hex wheels... POOF! 🧨💥:celebrate:

I can't afford a SCT410, much less a 8th scale version. can't deny this is cool though! Saw people do it with the Arrma 6S platform first, Kraton chassis with Typhon arms. Was going to do the same but the costs are just too much 😬

looks good i would want one. they should hop on this opportunity they have to sell the kit
There sure is a lot of people saying just that. I love SCTs and I love the way a heavy truggies float over the rough stuff.... I'd have to have one. Too many "what ifs" though. Who knows? Maybe next year I'll be tired of my truggy & do my own build (not). 🤪

It's the same chassis as the DB48, very cool. We've been telling Tekno to do this for a long time now, release a kit with a truggy length chassis and buggy arms. For an SCT, the body mounts could be included. For a DB48, it's up to your creativity to mount a cage. This could be done so easily, grab a used EB48.3 or.4, a truggy chassis, and some sct body mounts. Or an ET48.3 equipped with some buggy parts, whichever option is cheaper really.

Oh, I know he didn't build one... yet!🤣
I got too many projects going on at the moment, and not enough funds. Weather is whacky. Track is too wet most days... I'm in a slump. It certainly would be a good moment for me to make a SCT48 happen as I don't even have my ET48 2.09 🤔 together yet. I'm trying to resist crawler temptation so that I may use that money to enjoy someone else's mini truggy.

This dude...

I don't know how to copy/paste FB videos here, but if you search for "Tekno RC SCT48 takes the skatepark!", Chasen Ehrlich sends his SCT48 above and beyond.

Missed this thread.

Ok really want to do this but could probably but for the cost
I know what you mean. Plus, I want to enjoy my new to me ET48 for a bit before I think about mating it with my EB48.
