Far from it… I’d give my left nut to not be in major physical pain every time I wake up… Couldn’t be told shiit when I was young-so I had no clue how right the old guys really were.. Financially broke is fixable through discipline, and work ethic. Literally nuthin’ to it.. Good F’n luck with physically brokEN…

You couldn’t pay me to build an RB lolzzz. As for the anemic turbo Honda-I’d take a 1J with zero oil pressure, and missing main caps before you’d even hear ā€œB-seriesā€ come outta my mouth.. šŸ˜‚

Feels that way.. I absolutely PUNISHED my body from the time I was a little kid, up until not even 10yrs ago.. I was pretty serious about Skateboarding, BMX racing on a National level, Dirt Jumping during, and after racing, Dirtbikes, 4whlrs, Football, Hockey, fighting, car crashes, building/maintaining 1:1 racecars, and hotrods, etc.. Then on top of all that-earned a living in automotive service for almost 3 decades, and got many other blue collar trades under my belt over the years (carpentry, plumbing, welding/fabrication, commercial electrical, and some tool & die before getting into Industrial Maintenance.. I’ve had over (40) fractures, multiple dislocations, concussions, and surgeries from believing I was Superman… Even without the early-midlife activities/shenanigans; those trades alone REALLY take their toll on a man..šŸ˜…šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Don’t get me wrong-regarding Nissan/Datsun stuff; I wouldn’t cry about owning a clean R34 Godzilla, or even an R33, but that’s the only way I’d ever own an RB.. For me personally, I’d be far more excited with an SR20DET sitting between the fenders of a ā€˜69 510 2dr.. And don’t even get me started on their late model stuff… While BEYOND impressive-the newer GTR’s are absolutely borrrrrrrriiiiing to drive, and sound like complete asss… šŸ˜‚

I’m FAR from a brand loyal guy when it comes to my hotrods, and racecars, but American v8’s just do it for me.. -Don’t care if it’s a bone stock Stage II Buick 455 from (or IN) a GSX, a junkyard turbo LS based abortion, or even a simple 363 SBF with highports, or cup car heads, and a nasty solid roller.. šŸ¤©šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I’ve built a BUNCH of all of the above, and with stellar results. šŸ¤™šŸ»
 
How about a D series? SOHC and non VTEC. Slow šŸ˜…šŸ¤£šŸ˜†šŸ™ƒ well that does depend on which variation of the dseries
I’ve ridden in 500whp turbo CRX’s w/lowly D-series motors that were BEYOND impressive, but as ANY big time Hondurrrrr guy would tell you; you’re starting waaaaay behind the proverbial 8-ball with nearly any Honda engine-no matter what it’s going in.. The only replacement for displacement is MORE displacement. šŸ˜‰
 
Me. All of em are good and I ain't fighting over it. I know B, K and D are the most popular. What other engines has Honda made that are good? I just know B the best because I helped my uncle wrench on his lol. Sorry for taking your tekno RC thread with Honda's lol.

if it ain’t a chevy motor I don’t want regarding v8s the ls/lt v8:ms are the best sounding v8s to me the 5.slow motors are too raspy? too high pitched? idk what it is and mopar is no car

My 06 has LOTS of hop up parts and its EXACTLY as slow as it was when I bought it!
Actually did put the h&r and svt suspension with poly bushings. I don't HATE the car anymore so theres that... 🤣
I just don’t get off on 1:1s anymore šŸ˜‚

Hell I’ve spent more on toys to cut my grass then I have on all 3 of our vehicles together 🤣
I USED to enjoy 1:1 building etc... now its a chore.
I hope I can find pleasure in it again.

šŸ¤£šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Yep! The infamous ā€œmost hated body in RCā€, that boasts ā€œtremendous unfair advantageā€ over all ā€œtraditionalā€ old school truggy lids. They’re not going away-even after ROAR said they’d outlaw any body that didn’t cover the shock towers from competing in sanctioned events. Every 1/8 off-road manufacturer there is put their foot down, and ALL are headed that direction for good. Like everyone else; I didn’t like them when I saw them, but the pro’s far outweigh the cons after driving with them for sure. It’s literally night and day. They also last ten times longer as well if you’re not a professional driver. Tekno has been known for their boxy, hard edged bodies for years now. The right paint job can make them much more livable imho, and they don’t bother me at all anymore, but for those that can’t stand them-their are half a dozen other options of the current style race bodies, as well as a few good looking more traditional style truggy bodies (though you’ll have to source an ET2.0 old style mammoth front tower for those). šŸ˜Ž
