Good thing you had some spare parts at the end to get this built the way you like!
It looks "ready"! 😎👍
I hope we get to see a vid or 2 of it running too! 😉
Maybe tomorrow, I will do another one handed driving video!

Its a new buggy... You should use both hands to drive! 🖐️👌🤣

I designed these parts in fusion360 to mount up the lasernut cage to the shock towers. It took several re-designs and test fitting but I think I have something that is fully functional. A little tweaking and these will be perfect.

The tee looking piece mounts to the M2C shock tower brace down low and fastens through the shock tower into the hinge part on the cage. A spacer is used on the front to push the body(cage) 2.5mm forward for fit and finish.

I was using the esc mount as the front body mount. I heat formed it into a 90degree using m4 screws as the posts with proline body caps.

The new mount is way better.

Yes my son broke a driveshaft on the snow leopard and I don’t know where to get replacements. 😔

awesome on the paint and the caps, bummer on the shaft tho,

Clear panels for the lasernut are about $70. That’s stupid expensive. I wasn’t diggin the fake carbon fiber look.
I ordered some of these:

I was able to polish/strip the paint from the lexan. It took some time with a dremel but eventually the lexan was now clear.
I airbrushed it with a black and a lime green from Createx. Kept it simple.

I love these KK-Pit tires but, they are too tall to allow chassis slap. My next experiment will have to be shocks from the sct possibly. The front tower is from the sct so that may get it back to the same geometry and allow the chassis to bottom out before the shocks do. The rear will have to do the same although it is a lot closer. Maybe the front buggy shocks can go on the rear as long as the travel isn’t limited.
Worst case scenario I go back to the 2.8” tires that look a little too small.
I don’t really jump this thing so I have never worried about it.
