Ok so it has been a few months with the B84 being out. Seeing lots and lots of post over on the FB. Chassis is trash. Id expected this right from the beginning. Lots of people are breaking the chassis up front near the pivot. Just sheers off. They are just too light weight and thin. Plus, another reason I think this is happening is because they make the pivot/chassis soooo narrow there. Has to be wider to be more rigid like the B74.x chassis. Here's just one of those examples:

Sooo... Hopefully AE makes revision kits with new chassis or a new B84.1

And another one. This is sad AE...

Body Option

I don't know if a person/people ask for input before things go into production, but the JConcepts Dragonator... "Cab forward, cab rearward, the debate lives on, but the Dragonator is something different." It's different... for sure. 😁

Reminds me of something that would be running on a salt flat speed run. I always thought you could somehow make things look better change/hide body lines with paint.

I'd take it over a cab forward body.

Its not my favorite design but I give JConcepts credit for stepping outside the box or trapazoid or wedge or whatever shape cab forward is.

I like the little fin on top is funky speed flat or maybe like early oval cars. Speed Racer maybe?

Its different and different is cool (enough).

Revolution Design B84 DJ Front Driveshaft Set

1778802534276.webp

The Revolution Design B84 DJ Front Driveshaft Set has been specifically engineered to meet the high-performance demands of the Modified classes. When power is high and corners are tight, standard driveshafts can struggle—this is where these Double Joint (DJ) shafts take your performance to the next level.

By utilizing two pivot points, these shafts effectively eliminate front axle vibrations and "chatter," even at full steering lock. This results in a significantly smoother and more consistent steering feel, giving you more confidence on the track and allowing for more precise corner entry.

Key Features:

  • Vibration Reduction: Double-joint design eliminates front-end chatter during cornering.
  • Consistent Steering: Provides a much smoother and more predictable steering response.
  • Modified Class Ready: Built to handle the massive torque and power of modern Modified motors.
  • Lightweight Design: The set weighs in at only 23g per pair.
Compatibility:

…wow. Double the sliding friction and double the consumables when you’re rebuilding them? They sure do look cool.
