Oh man! I had a sweet run today guys! I got through my six tanks of gas earlier this week, so I decided to take my buddy out to this vancant parking lot so we could fool around with our cars...

They are pretty equal speed wise...
As you guys know, I got a Traxxas Sport SE which tops around 40mph.
He has some HPI product that tops out around 42mph, though his is a monster truck...

We had a fun time racing around...
And in a drag style race it turns out my smaller/cheaper Sport SE, annihilated his 4WD Monster in acceleration. Yeah Traxxas

Lol... in spite though he decided to run my *edit* car over at like 30mph and ended up breaking the top cap to one of my shocks caps off... He got a thorough bitching and assured me hed pay for the part... I just told him not to worry about it, cause me n him are practically like brothers. (Can anyone help me figure out how to get a replacement... I'm gonna go look the part number up after this, and hope its not too costly...) So I am super-gluing it as a temp. fix.

Was fun. I even started modding out my car today too! Mounted a temp gauge onto the chassis. Got a fail-safe installed on my receiver pack. Also cut a little hole in the body for the exhaust to stick out, because the exhaust was starting to ruin the paint job on my body, and also causing some troubles for the engine not being able to get out as freely (the body was capping off the outlet)...

Anyways! Was a super fun day, and I can't wait till this weather clears up, and I can get a replacement part for my shock and get back out there...

looking up the part number right now...

Traxxas Sport SE
Part number looks to be 3767 (Shock Caps)...
Think they would have this at the local hobby store or is this something I am gonna have to order...

You can see the schematics here... (Just look in the top right corner...)
