Stubborn screws

There was a thread (I think on Arrma Forums) about screw extraction and someone pointed to these. I haven't gotten to try them out yet.

If you have something to grab on to, they have a pretty solid grip.

Maybe drill the center, then you have a stud. Then you grab the stud with these? I did this with some Vise Grips on a stock mount that stripped out. I'm sure these will work better than Vise Grips.
Yeah, I have those. Only works when there's a stump left over. With a flush/flathead/countersunk screw, there isn't much left at all when you drill the head off.

Could try an ezout. I've used those with M4 grubs with great success:

But, I typically just grind a slot knowing it's going to ding the chassis a bit and move on.

Then use a standard bit to get them out. I have a cut down square edged bit that I use for these that works well:

It's been stripped a while, but when it comes around to replacing the diff case, yea 😬😡🤦😔

This one is really stripped. Tried everything I have on hand and nothing. Can't use my regular Dremel method since it's 1, counter sunk and 2 it will mess up my pretty chassis! I already replaced all the other hardware around, got 2 slightly rounded ones out with my MIP bits and electronic driver.

Far too screwy for me to follow at this point! 🥴🤣

My dentist uses these too!!! 😲🤣

WELCOME TO RCTALK.COM!!!👍
You just caused my fillings to send an electrical impulse to my brain. Shocking!

These threads have a tendency to start going around in circles.
Sometimes. Usually, they end up going off course for a couple of miles before, if ever, coming back full circle. Heck, last month I think I learned how to crochet a scrubby pad while reading how to spend money on RCs. 🤔🤣
