I mounted my motor in my truck in October or November. It is a brand new ct12 that has never seen a drop of nitro. I even added a few drops of ARO. Is it bad to leave the engine in the truck till spring? Someone told me I have to take it out and put it in a ziplock. If this helps it has a glowplug installed the air cleaner is on it and I have the exhaust plugged. It is also being stored indoors. Am I gonna have any problems by doing this?

If it has never been run you'll not have any problems as long as you have done what you said you did to the glow plug hole, carb, and exhaust.. The engine's internal parts have a light coat of oil on them from the factory. Plus you have it stored at room temperture so it is not be cooling and then warming back up. This is how it could get damaged as the condensation would develop when the parts go from warm to cool all the time.

well it does get kinda cold in here then I turn on the heater or do you mean like from one extreme to the other?

mostly going from one extreme to another. Like dropping 15+ degrees then you may be concerned about the temperture.

You should have no problems. I store mine the same way, and they have been run and never had any problems.

Your real concern should moisture. You have taken the proper steps to prevent corrosion. I would store it indoors away from the eliments. The worst enemy of an engine is not running it.
