Hi guys i am having problems starting my buggy any help would be appreciated its a .18 vertex engine I'm using 20% nitro fuel, medium glow plugs. I had the car on a stand so the wheels could spin freely, I primed the engine, the glow plug is fine and the igniter fully charged. The carb gap is about 1.5mm open. Could it be the pull start or could the gearmesh be too tight those are just my ideas I'm not sure its my first nitro rc. I'm pretty the problem could be i flooded the engine because there was fuel coming out the carb and exhaust

Ya i took the glow plug out and looked inside and the engine is turning it also makes a popping sound with the glow plug out

Try priming it if it fires up rich it up and try again.

Could it be the gear mesh though it seems like its pretty tight?

Should be able to roll a piece of notebook paper thrugh the gears without it tearing it if not loosen it up a little eliminate all problems one at a time.

if you think its flooded just take out the plug and turn iit over and pull the pull start a couple times this should take care of it if it is flooded.

ok thanks everyone i managed to get it started and broken in.
