Ok so now comes the time to either get a OWB and maybe a new shaft (doubtful) and either a rotostart backplate or pull start. Which will be around $50 either way I go and I will still break OWBs and pull starts. Not my cup of tea.
I have a hyper 10sc nitro (http://ofna.com/hyper10sc-nitro.php) It has a hyper .18 . IT is a 1/10 scale SCT
I just broke it in about a week ago. What is the best (most reliable/ best starting capabilities. I honestly dont know.
I think this one will work http://www.ofnawarehouse.com/produc...ucts_id=666&osCsid=k5eh7ftlshpfqpfbhtqv9odau6
Price is not really an object if it saves me headaches later. But I dont wanna spend like 160 on one. I am a light basher. Grass, and dirt parking lot. I do not mind lugging it as long as it works. I do not have a lipo charger btw.

Take a look at the Kyosho starter box. It is very versatile in that the wheel can be oriented a number of different way in order to be compatible with the vehicle you are running. I know that there are a few other brands that can do this too but I like the Kyosho box the best of all the boxes I have had.

i think I'm going to stick to new.
I have a battery charger... nimh I'm pretty sure deff not lipo. IT is a smart charger.
Any one in particular to use that is new (under 100)
also what would make a starter box not compatible

Get the ofna box. it's a 100 bucks but it has 2 750 motors in it. I'm on my 3rd year of use with no problems at all and it twists my .28 & .30 with ease.

Ok got it back.
I'm starting to assemble my car together but my back plate. One i can't find one for my engine and two i really just want to use either mt broken pull start or roto start. Should i just put in on the back with now shaft or owb
Or throw the one way bearing in then the shaft and then the rotostart backplate
