Starter box troubles

so i took a bit less than a year off due to not having the money to pay for gas when i ran out, but I'm back now.
dusted off the ntc3 charged the batteries tightened all the screws.
the only snag i ran into was the starter box. the stupid lead acid battery wont take a charge. do the batteries just die after a while? or will it take like a week to charge on the wall charger thing

get a new battery...they're like 10 bucks right??

no idea... but i already used my alloted budget for this month on the gas maybe ill wait for some christmas money

ok 2 days of charging and it will turn the wheel under its own battery this might take a while
