stampede slipper pegs in spur gear

i am replacing the spur gear on a stampede and was wondering if you should fill all the holes with these pegs or every other one when i tore it apart it has them as every other hole or would it even make a differents

They come stock in every other hole, but when replacing them we use all of them. It will extend the life of the slipper.

thats what i was thinking and you shouldn't have to run the spring as tight either.
