To begin this is all happening to my Losi Lasernut. It’s all stock Spektrum electronics and they have worked great so far. I wanted to change the servo for a more powerful one and put in a MKS HBL 550. With a fully charged battery I turned the car back on after installing it and the transmitter and receiver wouldn’t bind so I went through the binding process and it worked.....kinda. After I turn the ESC off to complete the calibration and turn it back on I have zero throttle and the servo works for about three turns of the tires and quits working as well and the orange light on the receiver goes out. Did I do something wrong installing the servo? Did my receiver take a dump? I’m at a loss here

after looking at servo specs .Id say its the esc bec failing.. either hook servo up direct to a 2 cell of get a Ubec with 20 amps pulls esc red wire or center 1 and try that...

Some of the higher current draw by servos have been known to brown out the BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) on ESCs. The best way to overcome this is to use an external BEC a was mentioned.
