I have a dx 2.0 spektrum system and got it to bind and the failsafe all set up. now it will just lose the connection and shut everything down, it doesn't go into failsafe mode it just wont let me control anything. the brakes don't lock up like when the failsafe kicks on this just does nothing. anyone have anything like this happen?

no secondary failsafe, its a revo platinum. batteries were fully charged, the first time it happened i figured maybe the batteries but that would just trigger the failsafe. but after a full charge and discharge it happened again. I just read on the spektrum site do not mount receivers next to noise sources. my servos buzz quite a bit, could that be causing this?

Does the platinum come with optidrive? If so that's most likely your problem.

No optidrive. I unplugged my throttle servo and didn't have the problem. So I guess the buzzing in the servo is interfering with the radio.

I've ran a Spek on a Revo, no issues. Are you using the Traxxas battery pack? I'd bet it's not giving enough power, Spektrums like lots of power. I've never had any luck with Traxxas rx packs. OR there is something wrong internally with that servo. Swap the steering and throttle wires on the rx and see what hapens.
