I think the MT12 would suitable for that and be affordable. The iXSR is a very expensive system along with the receivers now being quite a bit more expensive thanks to DT's import tax nonsense and they only go up to a 6 channel receiver. You can get the MT12 in either a 4 in 1 module version which can work with lots of aftermarket and stock oem equipment receivers from RTR's or as you mentioned you can get the ELRS version which has crazy range capability. Also the MT12's interface has a pretty big learning curve vs the iXSR which was an Android based smart firmware with a touchscreen which is the main reason i want one. Also the new version iXSR won't be out until at least sometime in October vs the MT12 which you can buy right now if you want. Hope this helps in your purchasing decision.I am now trying to figure out if I should wait for the new version or go with the Radiomaster MT12. My most complicated vehicle will be the Clodbuster with 4 wheel steering and light controls. The second is my SCX10III with all the options on the drive train and I want to control more lights. Possible want o mount a winch servo. The MT12 has a steep learning curve but can do a lot. The ELRS has me intrigued for the distances.
