LST Wins First Time Out!

The all-new LST Monster Truck from Team Losi made its racing debut in grand fashion winning the US Gas Championships. Although the LST has run thousands of laps while in development at various racetracks around Southern California it has never competed head-to-head with other models in actual competition. The US Gas Championships offered the ultimate test with the best drivers and highly modified machines competing on the challenging K-Z Speedway off-road track. Adam Drake drove the production spec test truck to a convincing victory landing the big jumps, smoothing out the rough sections, and putting down the power throughout the long main event. Congratulations to the crew at K-Z Speedway, Adam, and the LST for and awesome event and debut.

I'm sure a little bit of it had to do with having a World class driver. BUt still you can't refute the numbers!

Damn! That made me excited. You need to be a sports accouncer. Isn't this truck suppose to be even bigger than the Mammoth? If so, I don't like, the mammoth is over kill enough for me.

Over kill compared to what?!? Team17's mammoth did very well during the Dash and Bash event we held here in Cunningham Park. I beleive it's in one of the first clips of footage in the movie (after the clip where I almost burned my eyebrows off at he grill).

Overkill. This is just my IMO but i think they are way too damn big. Fast, pretty durable, and nice trucks but just way to big for my taste. The number one thing I hate about those trucks are the sound! That hitting the ground wrong sound.its like nails to a chalk board that way it makes me feal.

I never said they couldnt run with the big boys, just said they were overkill to me. As RS43Drifter demonstrates with my 2 1/2 kicker.

I just think Monster trucks were made to be overkill. It's the bigger basher. Not really for speed, but good old fashion "let's see how long it takes to break something" type of attitude. After all, they're made to be like the full size monster trucks anyway. To each his own, fun is the only common factor.

I agree with you but too me the Savage 25/SS is the perfect monster truck. The size is perfect. I'm not talking about tall over kill I'm talking like over all size over kill. I don't mind a tall truck but I dont like them whent hey are just huge trucks, but I've yet to see/feal a Losi in person so I can't judge it too much.
