None of mine ever have. If you're referring to the SAFE system and the like, it's not a true auto-pilot. It just levels the plane and gets it into a safer level attitude, but isn't going to bring the plane back to you.

I proved that many years ago with a ladder, a roof, and a cape. (Read: beach towel)
Did it again later in life with a "Duraplane". (Anybody remember those?) Record flight of about 45 seconds.
