Has anyone ever used THESE?

Yes, I know about how a locker works. Very familiar with them on my 1:1's. I may just get these to "see" how it'll perform. I run on a semi slippery surface and don't like the way the open diffs perform. Squirleyness out of a corner is ok with me, I have come to know my car pretty well to adjust. If I don't like em ... I could just take em out. I would just like a "heads up" on them.

yeah, i've tried the spool on my NTC3. Its great cause it gets you out of corners on a short track alot faster than running a one-way diff. But, the ring gear is very fragile. If you tap a dot, hit the side barrier, or come to a sudden stop by hitting or being hit by another racer, you could kiss your ring/pinion gear in the front good bye. If you use it, just make sure that you have spare ring gears in handy. Goodluck.

Thanks HP. I have mine on order at the LHS. I figured it would be good since our track is small and kinda technical with a couple of hairpins. It's a forgiving track since it's at a lot that we have setp with firehose and a few pieces of pvc that will separate or give on contact.

I am running a front solid on my Ntc3, and it works good considering I am on a short track where the best way to win is to brake hard and not wreck, and the pull of a one way.
