So I have had horrible luck with the clipless system on the fiesta I think it is horrible placed and I hate it is there a way I can convert it to clipped?

I would imagine you should be able to use the older style clipped/copper pin mounts. If you can find them in stock somewhere. It's Traxxas should be out there somewhere.

The fiesta mounts should be the same as slash 4x4 mounts right? If so I would opt for Proline threaded/locking cap mounts. I love those things. Makes it much easier and more secure.

Thanks I’ll have to check that out

I converted to clip less and then back to clipped. I had the same mounts still left from before clipless existed, so I just put those on and took the clip less mounts off the body. Think one of the holes lines up to the body mounts. I bet that Traxxas still sells the normal mounts as a replacement part to the first Ford fiesta rally. Also I bet it's all over eBay and what not. The mounts should screw into the same place on the car, at least that's the case with the slash 🤷‍♂️. Good luck, with traxxas, youll need it

Same I was pissed because I got the g500 body for my trx-4 kit it was an option on there and they said nothing about needing different parts to mount it. I ended up emailing Traxxas directly and said that they need to fix that and they did

They just want your money. I bought some tires for my slash 2wd and they made the hex size bigger and I didnt see it at all on the package. Here I am bouta install and I discovered what they did. Not buying more stuff from them directly ever again

Real

We drove like a hour and a half to the nearest hobby shop just for parts rather than dealing with Traxxas
Dang. I'm committed but not that committed. I usually order off of amazon. My closest hobby shop was probably 10 minutes away and they closed! Now the closest one is like an hour or so north

Actually the Fiesta clipless mounting system is completely different than the Slash 4x4 clipless.

My problem with the Fiesta is that the lower sill portion (which includes the quick release tabs) drags when cornering on pavement or carpet. I even went with the all aluminum bodied shocks for the Fiesta (long front and xxlong rear) and even with the second stiffest springs and the fronts cranked all the way on preload (rears to level out) it still drags. If I could convert to something like the Slash 4x4 uses then I could just trim the body up.
