Solid Axle questions

I snapped the frame of my 1/16th slash off where the rear bulkheads attach, so I'm thinking about making a more "scale" 1/16th slash with a solid rear axle with a roll cage and rear solid axle.

I just can't find a 1/16th axle anywhere. Anybody have any suggestions?

The only thing I can think of that might be close is the axle from a Losi mini crawler.

you mean a solid rear axle like a CVD like this and not a telescoping axle?

Take a look at the Losi MRC axles, it's a solid axle and smaller than the wheelly king. How wide is the mini slash from hex to hex?
