Turbo? What's it dyno at?

Yeah, it's a turbo. It has a full HKS catback and muffler, HKS 3in down pipe, Blitz 120Db bov, Fluidyne radiator, K&N filter in a modified intake box, boost controller, HKS turbo timer, Magnecore wires, Magnecore coil, ARP head bolts, HKS MHG torqued to 78lb's per square inch, and a motor that has about 8,000 miles.

It's pretty quick, but he has no idea what his dyno numbers are, it's roughly 500 bucks an hour for dyno time.

If you're just trying to find the whp then it's like 35 bucks here. You should have him just get it dynoed...not to tune it on the dyno though

Damn, thats cheap as hell, the only dyno around here charges about 500 no matter what.

It's also the ONLY dyno around here for about 100 miles.

I'd love to go strap it to a dyno for 35 bucks.:D

??? Umm, the 350 is for me. She is pushing for a BMW. And why shouldn't old men drive vettes? Hell, they're the only ones who can afford them.

I think that's like one maybe two runs though...it's probably more to tune on it though.

There's at least 2 maybe 3 places within probably 25 miles of my house that have dynos

Why should a person drive a car capable of 170+mph and only go the speed limit, and not even accelerate a little faster than all the rest? It's just wrong!

Look at all the cash you guys are spending on your cars. At one time I did the same thing.

One day I discovered German Engineering. Nothing is better than pulling up next to one of you guys at a stoplight and blowing your doors off and never even screeching a tire. Or better yet bumper to bumper with a muscle car on the freeway until he tops out. The looks I get when at that point I drop a gear and put half a foot into the pedal.:jet:

I still love the looks of a nice pre 70s Muscle Car.

FastEddy you are so right. It is so nice to sit in your leather air conditioned 70k german car and go really fast. And at the same time their is nothing ths sound of all american steel burpin, fartin and rumbling up next to ya at the stop light. You know what I mean, when you can feel the guy before he pulls up next to ya!!!!! That is real power!! But the BMW's, Mercedes, Lexus's are sooooo sweet!!!! Damn if I only had $80k to spend on a car. :classic: Can you say kompresor (Mercedes) O man.

I only have my 1980 jeep Cj 7 And a 1989 honda accord, for when the jeep is broken and the long road trips. The jeep is not the best for a long drive. :hehe:

I guess I'm getting old, I'm not attracted to the rumble like I used to be, that is unless its on a track.

I get more of a rush knowing that I can make a 90 degree turn at 50 mph. (If I wanted to) And by knowing that God Forbid anything was to happen while I was in the car I would most likely live to remember it.

The Mercedes is my wifes car, I would get into way to much trouble if I drove it every day.

I drive a big white Ford truck... I can look down the tops of a the women who drive little cars. I'm such a perv.

I need to revise my earlier post. (on another thread) I sold the '68 Camaro, and bought a 1994 Corvette. It's only got 24,000 miles on it and looks brand new. (I have now completed one of my life's goals!)

I'll probably be shunned for this.. but...

1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham...

Wife.. er Girlfriends car.. 1998 Ford Escort LX..

I'm poor. LOL

Donate to the AoD fund? eheheheh

IF the olds gives out, guess I'm drivin` the RC to work eh? :hehe:

I drive a:
1990 Ford Bronco II
1997 Mercury Grand Marquise

And my baby:
1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass 'S'

I love it when I pull "bumper to bumper" with the import's, and before that light turns green, give the engine a rev and throw her into drive, and I'm outta there like a bat out of hell. Even for my Marquise, nothing stands a chance against that, unless another cop decides to race me..........

eddy what do you drive ?? sounds like an s4 from here (the whole high top speed, and take off from light without screaching a tire)

i dont much like the rumble of american cars as much as i love the scream of a high revved QUALITY import ... no civics, I'm talking about these cars here

Audi S's, BMW M's, PORSCHE, Lexus (the is300 can be made to haul major ass) , SUbaru Impreza WRX , Supras, RX7s, Nissan 350 Z , Honda S2000. those are some nice cars

supernitro, you mean nice "looking" cars i hope, all of those cars you mentioned barley put out enough torque to even give them the kick in the butt to move them off the line. Thats why they need such a high rev to move them little I4's. Hell on my 69' Oldsmobile, shes got the Rocket 350 in her, with the TH Trans. (Automatic) and only a 3 speed. And shes putting out 340 horses, and 490 Ft pounds. at only 2900rpm. Talk about some Nice Growling Muscle tones coming out of her duels.
