Wow! Talk about the not so good old days. Seems like it was quite a while ago....what two years now? It has been quite a while since I cut loose on anyone in quite that fashion.

Yes, Eddy. I do remember the 800 club. Those were some very interesting times, to say the least.
 
Sky, I couldn't believe the way you beat up on that dork, but you weren't the only one. I'm just sorry I wasn't around back then to help you out, but you sure held your own.
 
The 800 club was pretty interesting... I think I'd rather have that then the FFA, but I can't always have my way :D

Those that know me, know that I need little help in wars of words or wits. I've become a little more kind and gentle since becoming a mod, but I learned a long time ago to be prepared to dish as good as you expect to get. So I tend to lead with a boot to the head, and let it go from there.

Matts...well he just earned a special place in my heart at a very early stage on this site. The rest is in the archives. =devil
 
I was here with the llama. I was the one that made the pic of the two llama's doin it. That might of been the day I joined.
 
For the people that are dieing to know, the 800 club was a thread I would start every Friday or Saturday night that was a Free for all.

At that time we had no Free for all forum on this site. It was a thread where "ANYTHING GOES" Having an issue with someone, let them have it. Have a porn photo post it, Dirty joke cool anything goes. After the hour or two were over the thread disappeared. It was out of control.

Users would spend all week preparing for it. Photo-shop images were great. You never knew who's face would show up on what. We always new a user named Matts would get beat up on. And at that time we also knew a few Traxxas Forum Mod were going to be fair game.

I have recently thought about bringing it back to life.
The only requirements will be that you must be a contributing member to join in.
I'm also working out the porn issues.

Would you become a contributor to the site if this was one of the benefits?
 
Are we back at a point where we need the 800 Club to be revived? The original impetus behind it was the need for a few boneheads to get their asses handed to them. Not that we haven't had a few heated debates recently, but I do not see us at nearly the level we were back then.

If it were to come back, my one requirement or request would be that mods would not be limited in their response...as in we could participate to the fullest of our abilities. =devil

Wow. That is kind of eerie. Almost to the day.

I had to chuckle at my own posts which don't seem to have changed much from last year to now with respect to this topic. Guess we have just been doing a decent job of policing our ranks and keeping the riff raff to a minimum.

But I sure could use a good target to go off on...

just trying to get a point across. .he made a few comments that i didn't like.in another thread.and iam trying really hard not to keep going there.it seams like every month I get a thread moved to the ffa.and iam getting tired of it .may be he will become a contribtor. I'am all for the 800 club..that way.once a month.I or we can vent.and 24 hours later its gone.that way.noobs can't come in two weeks later and start the poop back up.Witch is really starting to were on my nerves. SO I say yes to the 800 CLUB.that way.if things get out of hand.its only one nite of flaming away and 24 later its gone that way if some one gets out of hand.and its not 800 nite.the mods can open a can of whoop ass.and whippp out the ban stick.to do away with the rift raft.no one exclued''''''.I think it would keep this site.more in tone.and in line
