hey guys, I've been huge into snowboarding for a long time, know and was wondering what you guys do to prevent rust from taking over your edges. I sharpen my edges every know and then but once go back out by the next day theres rust on the edge again. thanks for the help in advance

....in addition to what RR mentioned..

apply by running a candle along the edge. (if you want)

Buy a pen that you paint the edges with to give anti rust protection. Unlike using wax, this stuff does more than seal out air and moisture, it works actively to prevent rust. Bakoda is what I have used before.

If thats to much maintenance for you...buy a Burton board with stainless steel edges...lol

they just rust from having the water sit on them while in your car ride...I get ALL the water/snow off before putiing them away...wipe off the edges and the small puddles too....if you store them for a long time do what Revo said.....I just use any wax I have laying around....

BTW SS will rust too, just takes a lil longer......

yeah i always dry our boards off before putting them in the bag but i have never not had them rust. I will try the bees wax. You thanks guys

WANNARUNEM do you have a link or somewhere that i can buy the pen that you use. I tried finding a website but am comming up empty. thanks again
