Looking good Lloyd.

I can't believe you got rid of your Berg.

Thanks guys. Yeah Rob, I didnt plan on it, I was gonna keep it and just do the Bully build but I overlooked the fact that my Mayhem's in berg offset would set me at just barely above 9"!!! So I had to sell it off to get some axial offsets as well as some other parts....Oh well, if I dont like these axles I know what I am going back too.

What did you have to drill and tap on your wheels? Vent hole?

yeah vent holes.

They do hit the springs, but they hit the springs on my berg too so thats not a big deal to me. If it does become a problem, I will just go internal sprung.

How is the turning angle with the links spaced out? do the tires rub on the shocks or lower links?

Actually this helps...

This is the stock cover for the motor mount access. Super thick and if you dont space the shock at the axle the spring hits this....

So I spacer the shocks at the chassis, not at the axle and made new covers out of lexan wich gives the tires alot more turning clearance.

That looks like it will work just fine, How close are you to having Ur rig out on it's maiden voyage, LOL!!

Still have to finish up the electronics, get and paint the body (tomorrow) make a battery tray and most importantly, figure out a steering setup.

Man you are the crawler guy! To have a rig like that built in a couple days is bad ass man.

Lol thanks brandon.....

Got all the electronics in and wired, motors in and wired too....still have to do a steering setup wich I have an idea how but need to pick up some aluminum tomorrow first...

Also I made my battery plate outta some white delrin...

UPS man has my body! So should have it painted tonight!

No I didnt Curtis so I had to try and use what I already have....for now atleast.

Heres what I came up with, had no aluminum so I used some natural delrin again. Most of the bully steering setups I've seen have it so the servo is flat and the horn is pointed up and sticks out just waiting it get bent or broke OR the horn sticks down in front of the tierod waiting to get caught on rocks.

This should work and is actually perfectly solid, no slop at all....still gotta make my link and tierod.
