I finally had some spare time to work on the Tundra, heres a look at the color. This is after a four coats of paint and some buffing but it doesn't have any clear coat yet.

Looks GREAT Pete! You built it much more quickly than I thought it would take.

It's all in one piece now, just need to add electronics. I'll get better pics if the sun ever comes out.

The beast is 99% complete, just need to paint the tail lights and the 3rd brake light. My son begged for the light bar so I installed it for now but it will be removed shortly. Here a few more pics........BTW, the three speed tranny is bas ass!

Thanks Dom, it has been a very fun build and driveling it is actually fun, cruising along and then gearing down for the rough stuff...too cool! The only thing I don't care for is using a stick radio, I'll have to look into a 4ch pistol grip set up.

Finally got the tail lights and 3rd brake light painted. I'm hoping to put lights in it one day.

I got my new set of Mud Thrashers today, they look good but they are too soft. The side wall is non existent. They bite on everything but they are so soft that they fold over while turning on a flat surface.

This is the front tire with foams, the truck is too heavy for them.

That's just beautiful.....just beautiful.
I have a set of Tamiya tires and rims that should fit that just perfectly.
$30 and they're yours.

Thats a smokin deal but I decide to do what flat chested women have done for years....I stuffed them!

I just finish putting 2.2 foams in them, I didn't drive it yet but they feel a little better.

I got a chance to test these tires out...Not bad! It's very short but I can't video and drive with a stick radio.
