Here is my new RocHobby 1/10 Atlas, I painted the wheels white, added the emergency light on top which works off my channel 4, and it has different types of lights that go around and flash, etc. also added to diesel engine sound module

Looks great! Maybe a dab of shoe goo (silicone glue) or something similar on the pins? It would keep it secure while still flexing enough that it wouldn't just crack off.
