small shock mod

well, some of you might be like me and hate the way Losi Crawler shocks mount, atleast i do so i decided to just make it a rod end instead on top...

ground the stock mount off

Drilled and tapped for 3mm, using small Traxxas rod ends.

and thats it. since they mount taller now i limited them about a 1/4".

I'm not a magician! lol

mine dont really leak anymore anyways, i used a very small bead of atv at the cap and it fixed it and is still easily removable.

I have mine hooked onto the top mounts using Fuel Tubing. Seems to work okay for me :)

Good mod though, I'll keep it in mind if I need more clearance.
 
Looks good Lloyd, I have heard of people doing this and might have to give it a go my self, I bet the shock will function a lot better with rod ends on both sides, I might do this mod after the comp this Saturday.
 
theres definatly no chance of any slop now or it being to tight either...
