hi guys. Quick question, I have a .30 1/8 truck, only used it for 40 mins or so, my boy got it stuck and revved it hard, it then lost drive, engine fine, so put a aluminium 3 piece clutch in. But still exactly the same, but have noticed the first cog into the centre diff is spinning on the shaft and not rotating it and driving the gearbox! Is it supposed to do this? And does anyone think this is the fault? It's pissing me right off now ☹️

What vehicle is it could just be a loose slipper clutch.

This is the centre diff.

It has a slipper clutch on the front in the pic. The nut on the front would tighten it.

Yeah, Def pull it apart before throwing parts at it. Sounds like a possible broken pin or the center has ripped out of one of the gears.
